Selecting the pegbar to use
If you're using manual-feed to scan drawings, you need to select the pegbar you're using. The easiest way to do this is to make a quick 'trial' scan of one of the drawings:
- Place one of the drawings on the pegbar, and click the Preview button to do a quick 'trial' scan of it.
- Using the scan to help you, click on the 'pegbar' in the window that corresponds to the pegbar you're using.
- You may get a message warning you that you haven't calibrated the pegbar. If this happens - or if you're not absolutely certain that the pegbar is in the same position as when it was calibrated - you must calibrate the scanner (refer to Calibrating a manual-feed scanner).
